Fair Compensation Structure.
Unlike in a traditional law firm pyramid model, our attorneys are not compensated based upon a hierarchy which places emphases on the amount of time employed at a firm and one's ranking in the firm (i.e. partner, associate, of counsel). Instead, Klintworth & Rozenblat IP compensates attorneys fairly based upon a percentage of the work performed and of the work brought into the firm. This ensures that attorneys focus on what counts, providing top notch, quality work product to the client, rather than traditional firm politics.
Because of our fair compensation structure, attorneys are not bound to bill an enormous amount of hours per year. This allows our attorneys to better balance their life with the needs of our clients, while still having time for things in life other than work. Happy attorneys means happy clients.
Less Restrictive Working Environment.
We have found that the best intellectual property attorneys are intelligent people who do not like having their hands tied by items such as high billable hourly requirements, firm politics and red tape, and overly restrictive firm rules. Creating a less restrictive working environment not only improves our attorneys’ work product, but it causes them to focus on providing the best service to our clients.
