PRACTICE SUMMARY
Chad Anderson has almost twenty years of experience in the field of intellectual property, including patent and trademark rights procurement and related IP asset management, enforcement, and defense. He focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the mechanical and electro-mechanical arts to secure patent rights for clients domestically and abroad in an efficient and effective manner. Mr. Anderson advises clients in all aspects of patent portfolio management and the development and assertion of intellectual property and related strategic business considerations.
Mr. Anderson has filed and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in a broad array of technology fields. Representative technology fields in which Mr. Anderson has experience include: automotive and aircraft engine systems, autonomous vehicle control systems; database systems; emission systems and controls; battery technology; aircraft display and control systems; heavy equipment and off-road machine systems; modular data centers; and industrial manufacturing equipment.
Prior to joining Klintworth & Rozenblat IP, Mr. Anderson was with the law firms of Lorenz & Kopf, LLP (formerly Ingrassia Fisher & Lorenz, PC), McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (merged with Dentons), and Venable LLP.

â– Representing a venerable name in the agriculture industry to secure patent rights in various work vehicle and implement platforms, engines and sub-systems, including state-of-the-art transmission assemblies, emission control systems, crop and forage harvesting machines. This representation also includes counseling on and patenting innovative aspects of various construction and forestry machine platforms and implements as well as associated machine control and fleet management technology.

â– Representing the one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers to secure patent rights for all aspects of vehicles, including autonomous controls; gas, electric, and hybrid engine systems; communication systems; and structural, battery, safety, and emissions technology.
